School Well Being
Onsite therapy brings some real calm and balance into your school by offering colleagues a really comprehensive range of both holistic and beauty therapies.
We are currently in many schools on a weekly basis with this service and it undoubtedly gives colleagues a wonderful sense of value, addresses both personal and whole school well being, whilst also having an impact upon colleagues’ work life balance.
Onsite therapy
This gives the opportunity for colleagues to develop their experience in a range of therapies impacting upon personal well being. One therapist offering a weekly session, normally running for 3 or 4 hours, will offer a full range of treatments addressing the needs of individuals. The time scale or the regularity of the sessions can be altered at any time with reasonable notice. The programme is currently running in schools with superb results. It offers an interesting approach to improving colleagues’ work life balance. Colleagues often find it difficult to fit things into a busy schedule so this does offer an opportunity to take time out for yourself and to fit in those necessary beauty tasks without the hassle of getting in your car and driving there. Sessions can be half or full hour.
Available Treatments
All of the holistic therapies listed on our Therapy cards, are available along with waxing treatments.
Venue
The ideal scenario is that we find a suitable room and stick to it. We would then kit it out with manicure table, pedicure foot bath and the supply of towels and oils and products that would be needed. Also the usual ambience will be created. We can also provide a small chill out area in the same room if you had the space. Alternatively, we will create and break down the space at the beginning and end of each session. Please let us know which plan will suit you best.
Format
Colleagues will sign up for treatments on a weekly appointment sheet provided by H & M and coordinated by a colleague from school. Please replace any absentees to ensure full use of the time.
Fees
Fees will be invoiced monthly at the end of the month in arrears. Each hour will be billed at £55 00 inclusive. Invoices will be raised at the end of each calendar month.
Supporting Literature
We will create a library of Health literature for colleagues, directly responding to your requests. This will be a monthly, updated file of useful health information..
Record Cards
Initial record cards should be completed as a matter of course as this is an important health indicator. These cards are of course confidential and a record of colleagues therapies will be kept using these.
Treatment Rota
One treatment rota is attached to this and the rest will be posted along with the record cards. We will send the sheets to cover the first term. The therapist will ask colleagues to write a brief comment on a sheet which we will copy and let you have at the end of each term. This provides a record of the ongoing response from colleagues to this programme.
Tip Cards
Our range of tip cards will be available for every colleague each month. These cards contain some very useful information regarding an overall approach to personal well being. However, if there is something that you or your colleagues would particularly like information about, then please let us know and we will do our best.
Medical Conditions
Prior to treatment, if anyone has any medical condition or is taking medication on a temporary of permanent basis, please ensure that the therapist is aware. This will not necessarily inhibit the treatment but it may be necessary to change it to something else. Please talk to your therapist about the contra indications for the treatment you are having.
Therapists
Our team is there to help and offer you a very professional and highly skilled service. If however there is something which you would like that is not offered, please ask us. If we can help, we will.
Communication
If at any point you wish to adjust your programme or if at any point there is any part of your programme that you are not happy with, please contact us.
